- 4,424 checkouts and 5,165 Pokémon Center items secured by the House of Carts Slot Team in one afternoon.
- $413,473 in Delta Reign product, bought at listed price (MSRP), not resale.
- 858 members walked away with at least one order, and 87% of members with a result won.
- More than 3 times our previous record day.
On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, Pokémon Center opened preorders for Delta Reign. For most collectors, that meant the usual afternoon of spinning pages, carts that emptied themselves and "Out of Stock" banners. For House of Carts, it was the best day we have ever recorded.
Here at Marching Dogs we run House of Carts, the cook group that helps collectors and resellers land hard-to-get releases. We post recaps like this one because anyone can claim results. We would rather show you the numbers.
How big was the Delta Reign preorder day?
Big enough to rewrite our own record book. Starting at noon Eastern, here is what the House of Carts Slot Team secured at Pokémon Center during the drop:
| Result | 9/30 Delta Reign |
|---|---|
| Checkouts secured | 4,424 |
| Items secured | 5,165 |
| Value at MSRP (listed price, not resale) | $413,473 |
| Declines | 3,931 |
| Success rate | 53% |
These totals count every checkout secured by the House of Carts Slot Team during the drop, including the team's own purchases. The member numbers further down (858 winning members, the 87% and the typical member) count members only.
What got checked out?
Three Delta Reign products made up nearly all of the 5,165 items:
| Product | Items secured |
|---|---|
| Delta Reign Booster Bundle | 2,004 |
| Delta Reign Booster Display Box (36 packs) | 1,651 |
| Delta Reign Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box | 1,482 |
That is more than 1,600 booster display boxes, the product most collectors want most and can least often find. If you are still deciding which of these fits you, our Delta Reign buying guide breaks down what each one is worth to a collector, an opener or a reseller.
How does it compare to our previous best?
Our previous best day was the Pokémon 30th Anniversary Round 2 drop in July, which we covered in our two-records-in-five-days recap. That day set a bar we were proud of. Delta Reign cleared it easily:
- More than 3 times the checkouts: 4,424 this time, against 1,341 on our previous best day, counted the same way.
- 2½ times as many members won: 858 this time, against 327 on our previous best day.
The second number is the one we care about most. A record that comes from a handful of big accounts doesn't tell a new member much. A record where hundreds more people win tells you the group is working for the whole community.
What did a typical member walk away with?
Totals are impressive, but you want to know what happens for someone like you. So here is the typical (median) winning member:
- 3 checkouts, across 2 orders
- 4 items
- Worth about $309 at retail
And it wasn't one-and-done for most people: more than half of winners got two or more orders.
Not everyone won. Of the members with a result on the day, 87% came away with at least one order, which means some didn't. We would rather tell you that up front than pretend every drop is a clean sweep. If you want to hear it from members instead of from us, read unedited House of Carts member reviews, including the less glowing ones.
Why does a day like this matter if you're thinking about joining?
Pokémon Center preorders are some of the most contested checkouts in collecting. Thousands of people show up for the same product at the same moment, and most leave with nothing. A cook group is only worth paying for if it changes those odds in a way you can measure.
That is the point of publishing these numbers. Delta Reign is one day, but it is a day where 858 members got product most shoppers couldn't, and the typical winner landed more than one order. If you are comparing your options, our honest House of Carts vs. Guppy comparison lays out how we stack up.
Delta Reign preorder FAQ
Have these orders shipped?
Not yet. These are preorders. The numbers above are checkouts secured on September 30, not boxes delivered, and the retailer can still cancel a preorder before it ships.
Do the totals include the team's own orders?
Yes. The headline totals (checkouts, items and value) count every checkout secured by the House of Carts Slot Team during the drop, including the team's own purchases, and our previous record is counted the same way. The member figures (858 winning members, the 87% and the typical member) count members only.
Is every drop this big?
No. This was our biggest day ever, more than 3 times our previous record. Results vary from drop to drop and member to member.
How do I join House of Carts?
Everything you need, including membership options, is on our House of Carts membership page.
Be in the next recap
The next big Pokémon release is always coming. If you are tired of watching other people post their checkouts, the best time to get set up is before the drop, not during it.
Note: Results vary by member and by drop. No checkout, delivery or profit is guaranteed. Totals are checkouts secured by the House of Carts Slot Team on September 30, 2026, including the team's own; member figures count members only. Delta Reign items are preorders and can still be canceled by the retailer before shipping.
