Everything sensitive is encrypted before it ever touches our database — every card, every address, every login, locked down on its own. A stolen database copy would be worthless without the keys, and the keys don't live in the database.
You only ever see your own profiles, and even then your card number stays masked until you re-verify through Discord to view your own info. Staff can only pull one entry at a time, and every single reveal gets logged. There is no button anywhere that dumps everyone's data. Discord never carries your real card or login details either — the bot only ever works with profile nicknames. And if your membership lapses, your stored data doesn't sit around. After a short grace period it's permanently destroyed, in a way that can't be recovered.
This isn't a weekend project
A platform holding member payment info has to be built like it. HOC Slot Buddy went through hundreds of automated security and correctness tests, every one of them running against a real database, and all of them have to pass before a single change goes live. The whole system went through round after round of security review covering how data is encrypted, who can reach it, and how it gets erased.
